Elmer Hawkes' Ethiopia for Kids is a virtual trip to a land full of history and mystery. The film shows us a beautiful country, full of vibrant color and fantastic mountains and boasting an existence which dates back to the beginning g of creation. Definitely an interesting film which will maintain children's attention.

"A visual feast for the eyes"
Ethiopas is a tremendous film, a visual feast for the eyes. This is a much appreciated educational movie that keeps one's interest throughout it's entirety.

Positive and realistic view of a real child's life in Ethiopia.
A documentary narrated by a kid, and it is a very educational view of Ethiopia. Shows a positive and realistic view of what it is like to live in Ethiopia, from a child's perspective. Teaches history, culture, geography and the diversity of the people living there. Shows the poverty, but also shows the beauty. Children can learn about other children that live in this far away place. Educational from beginning to end. I like how you see the characters at work and at play, they are working together and look happy. A child can see how their culture is different, but also the similarities, to their own.
