The Adventures Of Tintin: Season Three

Saving Some of the Best for Last...
Season Three of "The Adventures of Tintin" offers well-done cartoon adaptations of seven more Tintin stories, based on the orginal and still popular graphic novels by Belgian artist Herge. The selections include "The Red Sea Sharks", "The Seven Crystal Balls" and its sequel "Prisoners of the Sun", "The Castafiore Emerald", "Destination Moon" and its sequel "Explorers on the Moon", and "Tintin in America." All but the last are presented as two-part features.

Season Three continues the fine animation of the series, which closely copies Herge's original and distinctive style. The episodes have been edited to fit a television format, but they retain the best of the dialogue, the intricate plot lines, and the humor and suspense. Tintin and his faithful dog Snowy are joined by Captain Haddock, the detectives Thompson and Thomson, and Professor Calculus for most of the episodes. The result is pure entertainment for Tintin fans of all ages, especially those youger ones meeting...

Great series
I have waited for this series since my childhood. I used to read the series in print. But it took all this time to come out on a DVD. "A Great series" and a "Must Own"!

Love this series
It's really nice to be able to finally have this wonderful series complete on DVD. Season 3 completes the collection
